Terms of Service

By accessing or using Hintor, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

Hintor is an online technical learning platform offering interactive lessons, coding tasks, assessments, AI-assisted hints and explanations, feedback, and related learning tools.

You must provide accurate account information and keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account and for notifying us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.

You may use Hintor only if you can lawfully enter into these Terms. If you use Hintor on behalf of an organization, you confirm that you have authority to accept these Terms for it.

Some Hintor features are available without charge, while Hintor Pro provides paid features and content. We may change, add, or discontinue features where reasonable, including to improve security, quality, or the learning experience.

Hintor Pro is offered as a subscription where shown at checkout. Paddle acts as the Merchant of Record and processes payments, taxes, invoices, and eligible refunds under its applicable terms and practices.

Subscriptions renew automatically at the stated interval unless you cancel before the next renewal. You may manage or cancel your subscription through the available account or Paddle customer portal tools. A scheduled cancellation generally prevents future renewal while access continues until the end of the already-paid billing period.

Refund requests are handled under our Refund & Cancellation Policy, applicable law, and Paddle's applicable policies.

Use Hintor for lawful, personal learning. Do not misuse the service, interfere with its operation, introduce harmful code, attempt unauthorized access, or use it in a way that harms other users or Hintor.

Hintor's lessons, exercises, coding tasks, assessments, interview questions, explanations, hints, feedback, curriculum structure, text, graphics, user interface, branding, and other proprietary content are owned by or licensed to Hintor and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

You may use this content only for your own personal learning. Without our prior written permission, you may not copy substantial portions of it; scrape or automatically extract it; reproduce or republish lessons or tasks; share paid Hintor Pro content with non-subscribers; redistribute or sell Hintor content; create competing datasets, courses, or products from it; bypass access controls or paywalls; or share accounts to avoid subscription fees.

These rules do not prevent you from retaining knowledge you learn or independently writing your own code.

You retain ownership of code and other content you independently create. You grant Hintor a limited, non-exclusive right to process, store, display, and use that content only as needed to provide, secure, support, and improve the service.

AI-assisted hints, explanations, and feedback are educational tools and may be incomplete or inaccurate. You remain responsible for reviewing outputs, testing your code, and deciding how to use the guidance.

We aim to keep Hintor available, but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary for security, maintenance, legal compliance, non-payment, or a material breach of these Terms.

Hintor is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. We do not promise that the service will meet every learning, employment, technical, or other outcome.

To the extent permitted by law, Hintor will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, or opportunities arising from use of the service. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

We may update the service or these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with an updated date. Continued use after an update means you accept the updated Terms.
