Privacy Policy

We collect information you provide, such as account and profile information, communications with support, and information you choose to submit while using Hintor.

We also collect learning activity and progress data, including lessons viewed, tasks attempted, responses, and progress. Code you enter or run in the platform may be processed and stored to provide coding tasks, AI-assisted guidance, feedback, and related learning features.

We may collect usage and device information, such as browser type, device identifiers, IP-derived approximate location, pages viewed, interactions, and diagnostic information. Authentication information is handled through our authentication provider, Clerk, as part of account access and security.

Paddle is Hintor's Merchant of Record and processes billing and payment information for subscriptions. Hintor does not claim to store full payment-card numbers. Paddle's processing is governed by its own privacy practices.

We use information to provide and personalize the service, maintain accounts, deliver learning features, process subscriptions, communicate with you, protect the platform, diagnose problems, understand product performance, and comply with legal obligations.

We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand traffic, usage, and product performance. GA4 may collect device and browser information, approximate location, interactions, pages viewed, and similar analytics data.

We use Microsoft Clarity to understand website use and improve the user experience. Clarity may provide interaction analytics such as clicks, scrolling, navigation behavior, and session-related insights.

We and our service providers may use cookies and similar technologies for authentication, preferences, analytics, security, and service functionality. You can control certain cookies through your browser settings, though doing so may affect some features.

We may share information with service providers that support authentication, hosting, analytics, customer support, payment processing, and platform operations. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a business transfer where permitted by law.

Hintor does not sell personal data.

We retain information for as long as reasonably needed to provide the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and maintain security. We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, but no online system can be guaranteed completely secure.

Your information may be processed in countries other than your own where Hintor or its service providers operate. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, or withdrawal of consent where applicable. Hintor is not directed to children. Do not use the service if you are not old enough to do so under applicable law, and do not provide us with personal information about children without appropriate authorization.
